Blue tooth (works really well) and traffic information is not a necessity but people like us still like to have the same. We can use it as and when required. Website of Garmin allows you to have number of pictures; you can change the car picture at will. It is more accurate and precise as compared to its counter parts. There is no haphazard movement of the map/pictures. People also appreciate the voices that one can download at any given time. The ability of the machine to inform you about the turn, with ample of time (much in advance) allows navigation much easier and faster. It has plenty of data storage space that allows you to store voices, maps and pictures with a SD slot that provides additional space. In totality the quality and application of this GPS machine is much better than others.
One really loves to use the fingers on the touch screen interface. Very approachable and user friendly. Just by touching the screen you can change the view of the map and at will zoom in the place you want to look at and immediately using a button you can again start viewing your three dimensional picture. The option to either use the natural voice or speech voice is great. The sound quality is also very good. Speech voice will give you the name of the place on an immediate basis. You also have the option of using a picture in order to learn about the turn in advance. It will give you the direction and will also tell you when the turn would come. Topography/ terrain/ map s are very precise and to the point. Traffic alerts are very informative and you can save a lot of time by avoiding the crowded places. Blue tooth gels very well with the system. Call history, phonebook/menu, voice detection is all very exclusive and useful for people like me. Even the quality of voice is superior in case of this machine. You can connect your machine to your computer and load all the maps that you require on a frequent basis; the data storage space is sufficient.
Traffic alerts are really useful. You can put the machine on the windshield and it is very safe because it has proper vacuum that holds it for long and will not fall from the place of installation even accidentally. It connects to the satellite very fast giving you enough time to navigate properly. Wide screen and maps and topography of the machine are marvelous.
