The Garmin nüvi 270 is the transatlantic model in Garmin’s nüvi 200 series. This GPS navigator comes maps for United States, Canada, and Europe. Like the other nüvi 200-series systems, the 270 features an easy-to-use color touchscreen and ultra-slim design without expensive, marginally useful add-ons: perfect for everyday navigation.
Highlights:
The Garmin nüvi 270 is distinguished by the fact that it comes pre-loaded with European maps. Garmin has confused things a bit by numbering it “270″ which would lead you to believe that it contains all the features of the lower cost nüvi 260, but it lacks text-to-speech which is a a big loss. (To get European maps and TTS, you’ll need to go with the nüvi 275T - which cost quite a bit more, but does come with Bluetooth & free traffic.) |
