The suction cup is plenty strong. I am confident it would do well on any road conditions. On the down side: there is no chime to indicate you need to turn. This is a great big omission that every GPS unit should have. So many times I missed my turns. [ed note: on the Garmin 760 there are verbal turn commands to replace the chime] Also, Garmin skimped and didn’t include a case, AC charger and manual for the nüvi 760.
