Magellan Maestro 4250 Reviews, User Feedback and Details

Rating: 8.1 / 10

Actual Magellan 4250 User Feedback:

“I am happy with the features the Maestro 4250 brings for the price. There are some nicer things you can get with the Garmins, but it came down to having Bluetooth in this feature packed unit made more sense to me than the more expensive Garmin 750.”

Actual Magellan 4250 user review on forum

“I spent a lot of effort researching which GPS unit to purchase. I “settled” for the Magellan 4250 because I didn’t feel the additional $100-200 to purchase a similar Garmin product was worth it.

As an AAA member, I love the additional benefits, the most notable is an extra year warranty.

Live Traffic info is free for 3 months and then about $40 per year subscription.

I like that it is so small and thin that I can fit it in my jacket pocket. “

Portion of Magellan 4250 user review on

“Although this 4250 unit is an excellent value, there are improvements would be a big step forward.

You may not even notice the differences if you you haven’t owned any other personal GPSs to compare with.

If the unit does what you need, that’s all it matters. And for the price, this Maestro 4250 is a wonderful value.”

After digging through the reviews it seems this unit is suffering a bit overly high expectations. Because it offers so many features, users seem to forget that it is a very low cost GPS.

The Magellan Maestro 4250 may be for you if you want advanced features like voice commands and Bluetooth and are willing to put up with some minor annoyances to save a few bucks.

The unit becomes even more attractive if you’re an AAA member as they receive discounts on attractions and an extra year on the warranty for this GPS.
